Inside the safe, you find files on your mother. You read through the files. It appears that your mother was born in Flagel Girls Boarding School as part of an experiment. The experiment lead to psychotic tendencies in her.
You spot another file on yourself. Reading through it, you discover you are also a subject like your mother. Your father never actually died. He might not even have been your father at all. He was an actor Headmistress Ward hired. You find a tape inside your file.
You go back to your room.
"Liz, what are you doing?" asks Michelle.
"Something sinister is going on at this school" you tell her.
You play the video. It shows your mother beating you with her belt in the basement when you were a kid. Except the basement is a studio. Headmistress Ward and Dr. Stormare are both there, directing your mother.
The video then shows the headmistress giving you a shotgun. It then cuts to you in your mother's bedroom. Like the basement it is also part of a studio set. You watch as your younger self kills your mom.
"The whole thing was some Kinda experiment" you tell Michelle.
Suddenly, Michelle's brains are splattered out of her head. You turn to see the headmistress with two of the school's security guards, pointing guns at you and Christina.
"You weren't supposed to see that" the headmistress tells you.
The guards both gun down Christina and then you.
YOU ARE DEAD
You wake up in bed, screaming. You're relieved to see Christina and Michelle both alive. You tell them both that you were part of an experiment the headmistress has conducted. They both look confused. Any evidence of you taking the headmistress' key is gone. But you already know what's in the safe.
