Fairies are a tiny species of highly magical beings. Most stand at around a foot tall, small and light enough to be held up by a human hand. Traditionally, fairies don't mix much with the other species, often clashing with them due to their mischievous nature and lawless culture. Their strong magic makes them a force to be reckoned with, however, so they have earned a begrudging respect from most people. Other than their tiny stature and magical prowess, fairies stand out from other sapient species by way of their wings. Typically, they appear like insect wings, commonly dragonfly, moth or butterfly wings, though bat wings have been seen on rare occasions. Fairies live in swarms within forests. They live amongst nature, building fairy-sized villages out of the trees. Let's get more specific to iron out your character.
