JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a ongoing Japanese manga and anime written by possible immortal and Mona Lisa stand-in, Hirohiko Araki, in January of 1987. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is divided into eight parts: Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, Stardust Crusaders, Diamond is Unbreakable, Vento Aureo (Italian for "Golden Wind"), Stone Ocean, Steel Ball Run, and the current part is called Jojolion.
Phantom Blood is about the young son of a British aristocrat, Jonathan Joestar, and his rivalry with his recently adopted brother and gutter scum, Dio Brando, as Dio attempts to drive Jonathan insane so he can take over the Joestar heritage.
Battle Tendency is about a arrogant but brilliant shithead named Joseph Joestar, the grandson of Jonathan Joestar, as he strives to learn how to use the mystical art of Hamon in order to defeat the Pillar Men, timeless vampires whose goals are to steal the Red Stone of Ajah and become The Perfect Being.
Stardust Crusaders is about Jotaro Kujo, a Japanese delinquent, as he travels with to Egypt with Joseph Joestar, Noriaki Kakyoin, a Stand-user and Japanese high school student who was a former servant of Dio, Mohammed Avdol, a Egyptian fortuneteller and Stand-user who is close friends with Joseph Joestar, and Jean Polnareff, a Frenchman and Stand-user who wants revenge for the rape and murder of his sister, to kill Dio Brando, who had survived his battles with Jonathan Joestar by taking over his body, and save his mother's life.
Diamond is Unbreakable is about Josuke Hagashikata, the bastard of Joseph Joestar and a Japanese high school student, as he tries to keep the peace in his town, Morioh, from the depredations of serial killer and Stand-user Yoshikage Kira.
Vento Aureo is about Giorno Giovanni, the bastard of Dio Brando and an Italian mobster, as he seeks to take over the Mob and deliver a woman, Trisha Una, safely to Sicily. Unbeknownst to Giorno and his friends, she is actually under the sights of her father and the leader of the Mob, Daivolo.
Stone Ocean is about Joylene Kujo, the only daughter of Jotaro Kujo, as she tries to escape from prison in order to save her father and to stop Enrico Pucci, a Stand using priest and acolyte of Dio Brando, as he tries to gain the power to remake the universe.
Steel Ball Run is about Jonathan Joestar, a crippled

(Here would basic explanation of Stands be.) Stands are the living embodiment of one's soul. Stands come in all shapes and sizes from comic books that can tell the future to the hair on your head!
(Here would basic explanation of Hamon be.) Hamon users are one in ten thousand people who can tap into the power of Hamon, a mystical art that channels the energy of the sun. Hamon was originally developed to combat vampires.
(Here would basic explanation of Normals be.) Normals are regular people, without special abilities or powers. A normal person is a member of those ten thousand people who can't use Hamon and their souls don't have enough Stand potential to manifest a Stand either by strife or by getting shot with the Arrow. However, a normal person should not be underestimated.
(Note about how the characters here are different people: they aren't just gender-swapped versions of one character, they have their own individual personalities and backstories. The male Stand User character is a different person from the female Stand User character and the male Hamon user character is a different person from the female Hamon user character.)
