Well, today went already pretty strange and what ever would await you in the alley couldn't be worse, now could it?
Taking one last breath, you took a corageous step into the semidark of the alleyway. It was exactly like you imagined it: Dark.
How could it be any different? You waited a minute, giving your eyes some much needed time to adjust to the surroundings. However you also noted, how nervousness took the better of you. Actually, the idea to look after the hissing wasn't exactly your best. A hissing coming from a dark alleyway? A pretty dark one? Who would ever take a look. You. Of course. Your first thought was to slap yourself and only your eyes, which had gotten used to the dark, stopped you.
In front of you, on the ground, was most likely the thing, which hissed so dramatically. You rubbed your eyes. A bat? Well..somehow. Only somehow. You took another step towards the creature, gaining it's attention in the process. An angry look was cast in your direction, telling you to not get any closer.
"Hush now little one. I don't want to harm you." Now you were talking with a bat...today was a good day indeed. The fact, that said animal just vanished in front of you, did not help in the least.
"You know, Rover is nost trusting towards everyone." Your head swung around, letting you see the end of the alley and a person, a male one if the voice was any indicator.
"And who said that?" You thought, that you could hear a snort, before the sound of shoes on the paved ground hit your ear. When they stopped, the man was close to you. So close in fact, that you thought, that you could surely flick him against his nose.
"I said that. What did you do to Rover? Don't even try to lie. I can feel the Aura surrounding you, the magic oozing from it. Are you even trying to hide it?"
You...what?
Magic?
What was he on about?
