While you can tell that Nya really wants to see the horses up close you don't feel its safe to leave the car behind. Placing a hand on her shoulder she turns her head up towards you with hope in her eyes.
"Sorry Nya, not this time." You sigh sadly knowing your crushing her hopes.
The excitement drains from her face as she turns to stare into the field at the horses.
"I'm sorry...." Kneeling down slightly so that at head level with her you take her hand with a small squeeze making her turn to you.
"Tell you what. Whenever we have another chance and we aren't heading somewhere we can stop and go up to the horses. There are thousands of them across the world so I know we'll get another chance." You try to cheer her up slightly with your words and you can see it works somewhat as she nods her head.
Roaring from down the road pulls your attention away from Nya as you look from where you had driven from. A large black sedan is making its way down the road fast enough to create a great cloud of dust behind it. You know before your gut kicks in that you need to leave and now!
"Nya, get in the car now." You tone is harsh unlike normally and Nya picks up on it, without question she dashes into the car before you even manage to get around to the other side. Within second you are barreling down the road with the other car in hot purist; whoever these people are they have enough resources for brand new cars to travel down back roads.
Not quite sure if these men are armed or not your mind shifts over to Nya.
"Nya, stay in the seat but lean down as far as you can." Again without protest Nya does as you say. At least if they try to shoot at your car she'll be a smaller target but considering just how much their going through to get her you don't think they'll fire... at least you hope.
The race is on but unfortunately the newer brand of cars have much more horse power under the hood and even worse theirs hovers above the ground making friction less of an issue, which means more speed for them.
Coming up to a fork in the road you need to deiced which path you should take. One road continues down the direction you where heading in the first place and the other veers off to the left into a wooded area.
