You feed the cat from your plate, and it purrs happily. Then it licks your hand and keels over dead. You fed the cat poison!

That afternoon, as you are walking around your neighborhood, you find a hundred-dollar bill on the sidewalk. You think that is the universes's way of rewarding you for killing the cat.
