As a matter of fact, you didn't have to wait to long. Everyone got into a lineup like in those police shows. Only we were in a hallway.

"To all of you new inmates," the woman in front of us said with authority, strange as we were the only ones there,"I will be taking care of you today. I am Makina, the Chief Warden. Pleased to meet you." She deliberately lingered her stare on the kid next to you, the framed one. The other guys looked over at him. They started whispering about how he killed his class over in Nagano. You could tell it was getting to him.
