You allow your feelings to take control and you step forward and embrace Maya, leaning down for a passionate kiss. She seems shocked, vaguely returning the kiss for a few seconds, but then she pushes you away.
"What are you doing?" she demands.
"I couldn't help myself, Maya. You're so beautiful. I've wanted to do that for a long time now. Did you not like it?"
"No, it's just that... I mean... we hardly know each other!"
"But you liked it, didn't you?" you reply, smiling.
"I... yes." She calms down. "It was a very good kiss, David, but we can't just jump right into something like this without talking about it first."
"You're right. I'm sorry. Do you want to go out for coffee with me?"
