From Create Your Own Story

Wow, you write alot on your edits. Is this a story you have already created, or just coming up with it as you go? I have thought of writing long form before choices, but I decided it might be better to have more control over it, at what seems like natural decision points. What do you think? Better to have a whole short story, or to have smaller pieces with more decisions?
