You pick up the coin. It's a nickel (5 cents), so hardly generous.
"Okay", says the man, "that's that settled. I'm looking for a mage, an elementalist, and my magical presence detector has detected you. I need someone who can find something of mine that is very important. (he gestures across the road) Come into this coffee shop with me and I'll buy you a coffee."

- go into coffee shop with man
- "But I've only just started magic. I'm sure there are many better mages around here. Go to one of them."
- "I don't think your offer was hugely generous."
