Wait for the dizziness to pass

As your head clears, you see the man pulling something from his clothes. You see a glint of metal and scramble up, alarmed. The man laughs and shows you the metal. It is a long metal rod with engraved inscriptions that you can't read. "Do you know what this is?" he asks softly. "Who are you?" you bark. "What is your business here?" The cloaked man takes a step forward. you take a step back.
"Now now, I'm just trying to have a calm conversation with you, don't get defensive," he says in a calm voice, but with an edge of mockery. He takes another step forward. You step back. Your mind races. He's strong. You have to catch him by surprise. One look into his black eyes convinces you that that is impossible.
"Now I asked you a question first," he says. "Just answer, please." He takes another forward step you take another backward step. You'll have to run, that's your only chance.
"No, I have never seen that thing in my life," you say, trying to sound fierce. The man takes one more step towards you you step back and feel your back touch the wall. It's now or never. You break towards the man at full speed. As you charge at him you pretend to attack, but at the last moment veer to the side to run around him and out the only door. You never make it. The man's arm catches you in the head as you try and run past, and you fall to the floor losing consciousness.
You awaken in the middle of the woods near a dilapidated warehouse. There is a river farther down the hill. On the ground next to you lays a power bar. You grab it without much thought and stand up, shaking your head. The pain is gone.
