Hello.
To get spacing between sentences lines, you do not need to add <br>. Just make sure there is an extra line between the two lines, so, just hit enter twice.

I have been there, tried that. Glad I did not succeed in committing suicide, since I am happy with my life now. If I had succeeded I would never have made it to this place, at this time, and I would have hurt everyone who does love me. Honestly, now I sort of feel it is rather selfish. Sorry to hear that. You didn't break anything, did you? If so, you should probably splint it and see the doctor. As for the black eye, ice, and remember to half heartily chuckle when people ask what happened and you tell them "I got in a fight with a tree.
