Head south

On a whim, you set out south unsure of where it will take you. The winding road takes you out of the bustling city and past a few small villages. You reach an expanse of open fields on the second day as the brilliant golden sun begins to peak over the horizon. There is little to see or do during your journey through the windswept grasses and farmlands. All the wildlife you have seen so far has been peaceful, you've spotted no monsters, and all you've encountered on the road are merchant caravans and groups of travelers that greet you kindly. All in all, while it makes for a pleasant trip it doesn't really make for good adventuring.
