You walk over to Edward and, without preamble, smash his nose in a sickening crunch. He collapses, and his astonishment quickly turns to outrage. All of your crewmen stare at you with wide, horrified eyes... What's the matter with them? You were sure they'd be happy to see you teach a lesson to this little asshole.

Later, at sunset, Father Pedro finds you alone as you stand at the prow.

"Captain," he says, clearing his throat, "I'm afraid Edward's nose will stay crooked."

"So? Serves him right."

"You don't understand, captain," says Pedro softly. "You just hit the Pirate King's own son. Now your men are afraid of the consequences. They think the Pirate King will want revenge for this. The King's reputation for cruelty and ruthlessness is probably exaggerated, but some of the men still think you've made us a terrible enemy."

Turns out YOU HAVE LOST 1 AUTHORITY POINT.

A few days later, you reach Skull Crag.
