You quickly rushed out to Flack, and looked down at him. Blood stained his shirt, and he wasn't breathing.
"Freeze!" The police below shouted. You grabbed both of his arms, and my extension the duffel bag of money, and dragged him back inside. You threw him down by the door, and pulled his mask off. His face was lifeless and cold. You'd known Flack for ten years, since your last year of high school.
"Get back!" Daniel shouted at the police, who were now coming up the steps. "We got hostages!" He turned to you. "Grab one of those people back there, we've got to make an example of one of them."
"You mean kill one of them?" Monica asked.
"If we have to..." Daniel said, trying to not think about it too much.
