You make a break for it, you run and run when a voice cries out "Hey!" two gunshots fire and feel as one meets your back and you hear as someone screams "No Tess!" and the pained yell fills the air, it's all over you're dying. Everything grows cold, you taste the sharp tang of blood in your mouth. The mid-night sky darkens still, the ground is rocky under your injured back. The only sound you hear is the dying gasps of you and the lone figure you now know to have been your sister come to save you. No one can save you now
