Ok, you are Norrington and start in Tortuga.
You have been chasing after Jack Sparrow and his crew for months now, and have finally been devistated by a hurricane. Your entire crew is dead. You manage to get back to Port Royal to report your losses, when you discover that Lord Beckett has taken over here and arrested Mrs. Swann. Beckett wants to arrest you too, and you barely manage to get away.
You went to stay in Tortuga, the only place where you could be somewhat free from Beckett. Months after you have arrived there, though, you recive a letter from Beckett, saying he will hire you back if you get a special compass Jack Sparrow has in his posetion. This oppertunity is to good to pass up. You finally decide to:
