You press the power button on the front of your computer, but it does not turn off. you press it a few more times, but still, nothing happens. you look at your computer intently for a few minutes trying to come up with a solution. You know the computer isn't frozen because you can still move the mouse and click on icons but you can't find a way to turn it off.
