You are six moons old and due to become an apprentice any day. You are devouring a small vole when your father, Longclaw, comes over. "Silverstar wants to see you." He grunts. "With any luck, she'll be kicking you out of the clan."
It's been a long time since these comments bothered you. You shoot him an icy glare before getting up and padding into Silverstar's den.
