"My word that's a dark passage!" you exclaim to yourself.
"It is only natural that I should make such a discovery on a night when I have been drinking..." You hold back a small burp. "And have so so so much work to do back in my room!"
You have found a hatchway in the floor while picking yourself up from your most recent stumble and fall... one in a string of many inebriated trips to the ground.
