Outside the Pokemon Center, we started looking for a cheep place to eat. We would start earning money after we beat the first gym leader, but that wasn't until Eterna City. We would have to conserve until then.
After we ate, we let Piplup and Turtwig out. It was fun to watch them chase each other in circles around the guest room of the Pokemon Center. Occasionally we had to tell them to calm down before they broke something, but for the most part we talked about the road ahead.
"Obviously the next city is Jublife."
"Of course, but where after that? Canalcave is to the west and there is a gym there, but I heard that Bertha is really though. Maybe we should try somewhere easier?"
"But she's a ground type trainer, both of our Pokemon are super effective against ground types."
"I am sure she will have thought of that. How bout we go to Eterna first, then Orenburgh. If we can both of the gym leaders there, we are probably ready for anything Bertha can throw at us."
Jasmine sighed in defeat. "Fine, we'll go through Eterna first."
I smiled, "Knew you would see it my way."
"Okay, but do you have to be so smug about it?"
