You dive over the top of the bar and take cover next to the bartender. He's already grabbed a shotgun off of a hook attached to the underside of the countertop and is jamming shells into it. You hear the man's handgun go off and the sound of the wood of the bar being struck. A few bullets even pierce through and strike the wall behind you. Luckily since they can't see you and only some bullets pierce you aren't hit.
"That was a very stupid thing to do," the bartender chastises you, cocking the weapon.
He peeks over the top of the bar then quickly ducks back down as a few more bullets whiz over the top of the bar and smash bottles on the shelf above you. Pieces of broken bottle and alcohol rain down on the two of you.
