You head down to proffessor Oaks to say goodbye. When you get there he seems surprised and quickly gives you 5 pokeballs and shoos you out the door. You marvel at the prospects of catching yet more pokemon and begin your journey into the pokemon world...
That and prof. Oak shouts after you, "TRUST ME, YOU'LL NEED THAT CHARMANDER AND THOSE POKEBALLS!"
