You're sitting in your grotto mixing up potions one day when a visitor appears. You look and see that it's your niece, Ariel.
"Hello," you say. "Can I do something for you?"
"I need to... become human," Ariel replies reluctantly.
"And why do you want to leave our world?" you ask, curious now.
Blushing, Ariel responds. "I... um... well... fell in love with a human."
