You take a pace foward and stand at the lecturn, briefly enjoying the postion and power you now hold over your ogre guide. As you unbutton the clasp, and heave the heavy book open, an unbearable shrieking rises from its pages. As you struggle to close the book again, you see the ogre has been driven insane by this noise and is swinging his club erratically.

You try to calm the ogre with soothing words, and some "there, there, it's all right..." but this only maddens the ogre more, and he expresses this by bringing the burning torch down onto your person.

The Cloak of caution changes from blessing to curse, as the higly flammable material sticks to your body and turns you into a human Olympic torch. As you fall to the ground, your last vsion is that of the skeletal dungoneers beside you, as you take your place in the Hoff's Hall of Horror...
