Sartosa is a city unlike any other in the world. It is a melting pot of races and cultures: you see not only Tileans but also Estalians, Imperials, Bretonnians, Kislevites, Norsemen, Arabyans, Southlanders and even people from faraway Ind and Cathay. It appears that Elves, Dwarfs, Halflings and Ogres are also a common sight. Despite your previous misgivings about the city of pirates, you marvel at its exoticism. It is a hotbed of corruption and violence, certainly, but also a place of freedom and opportunity.
The Plaza is particularly spectacular: three hundred yards wide, and surrounded by temples and palaces. The ground is a mosaic of painted cobblestones. A large statue of the southern goddess Myrmidia stands thirty feet tall at the center, pointing her gilded spear at the sky. People of all races, trades and social classes go about their business, and you cannot help but notice that all of them seem considerably more hardened than the citizens of the Old World: many sport swords and pistols in plain view, and even the women look fierce. In Sartosa, only the strong and the ruthless survive.
Here you find the directions to reach any place in the city. You can for example take a look at the Port of Sartosa. If you are feeling thirsty you can go to the Treasure Trove, a tavern. A bit further is the temple of Sigmar. To the west you can see the Twisted Alley, that passes through the poorest part of the city.
