"So why is the boss hiring these new workers?" you ask.
"Well, she just hired the receptionist to replace Shelly since she quit last week, but apparently corporate called and told the boss that she needed to hire a new accountant to help watch over the funds and transactions in the office, since we had that case of fraud last month," says Jamie.
Yeah. About a month ago there was a case of fraud in the office by one employee named Derrick. He seemed like a nice enough guy, but once he got divorced he lost a lot of money, so he started recording sales multiple times so he could get extra commission. Once the existing accountants figured out the error, Derrick was fired and had to go to court. That doesn't really matter now though.
"But since you don't want him, I'm gonna have a go at the sexy accountant," says Jamie.
