She eventually reaches the end of the path which then splits into two, the left hand fork meanders to the recreation area and the shortest route home, although sometimes it would take forever as Joe insisted on trying out every piece of equipment in the play area. The right hand route goes further into the park into a dark wooded area, Emma has overheard the other moms' talking about it and how it's an area best avoided unless you knew your way around it. |
