The enigmatic individual leads you on a path through the dense forest. The plants are generally lush and green. Occasionally the elder mutters over plants which have brown spots, or are withered, or are stripped bare. The trees and bushes tend to perk up a bit when the elder passes their hand over them. They feel more right, somehow, even though they still look sickly. You notice very few flowers. After about a kilometer, your feet start to ache.
You:
- Grin and bear it, and continue on.
- Say, "Um, I hate to bother you, but my feet are hurting."
- Start demanding answers.
- Flee.
