You feel mirth from the presences.
Those two are two of our agents. We prefer to stay outside of existence, though you will get the occasional, young Unown who enters the world either out of curiosity or the odd desire to change things directly by, say, becoming a Hero’s Pokemon to help direct them on the right path… (Which is much easier done by just giving them certain thoughts. Ah, youth.)
Anyway, We are sometimes pressured to choose a human to act as a catalyst for Us. This is a last resort, though. They are Mortals whom We have blessed with power to help redirect the Balance back into line. If they do a good job and do not become corrupted, We let them keep their powers so long as they are willing to help with the Balance.
