Normally people blank their talk page after getting warnings to try to hide any warnings with things like a passive-aggressive "Haha, I deleted your warning, so it doesn't count to me and I don't care about following the site rules". Maybe that was not why you did, but I have had so many people do that then go on to mess up more pages, that I guess I just sort of reacted like that was your reason for it.
