This is a short story about betting on a horse race (or two, or three) to pay your rent.

The pages are short, with a decent description of the character (at least compared to the total length of the story).

The author keeps the main points, the action of the horse race, short, seeming to do a good job of being the "announcer". The stories grammar is done in an attractive manner, and it does seem to keep you in the action, although since the announcer's calls are repeated page after page, it is recommended if you read a bad end, to wait for a few before reading another, otherwise the same announcer text will seem a bit repetitious.

Overall, it isn't a bad read for such a short story. Well, I guess if you like horse racing. Hopefully someone more familiar with the sport will be able to leave their review below.
