"You better show up," Kristin says. "You'll regret it for the rest of your life if you don't. And the rest of your life will be very short."
You don't much care for threats, but you nod and smile and head home. This is going to be some evening...
You arrive home with about 30 minutes until Katya is scheduled to meet you, so you take a quick shower and change out of your work clothes. The doorbell rings shortly after and you hurry to answer it. When you open the door you find yourself momentarily speechless. Katya is standing in the doorway-She's changed clothes into a black form-fitting skirt and a short matching halter top. Jeez... It looks like it could be spandex.
"Hello, professor," she says and smiles.
You quickly regain your composure and greet her then invite her inside. The two of you sit down at your living room table-Katya looks slightly nervous, you notice.
"Would you like something to drink?" you ask her as you reach for some glasses.
"Um, no thank you," she replies after a moment.
