You can feel the burning sensation in your lungs as you struggle for breath. With every step your legs are threatening to collapse but you will your self to keep running. You need to reach her. You have to stop her. You need to know why.
"Sam!" You tried to call out to her, but she kept on running. The distance between you two is getting bigger but you kept on calling her name, hoping she would listen and stop. Ahead is a metal gate which is slowly opening as you get closer to it.
"I am sorry, but I need to do this. This is my only chance." Sam yelled as she increases her pace, getting closer and closer to the exit.
You cannot do anything as she reach the gate and her form disappear through the light. You fall on your knees trying to catch your breath. You failed to stop her. Anyone who enters that gate never comes back. No one knows what is on the other side of that gate.
