You decide not to put the shorts away yet. It’s still going to be some time before you’ll go to bed; in the meantime, you don’t need to dirty fresh clothes yet.

The shower is really refreshing after the long ride. You soap yourself up and stand under the shower until the water markedly gets cooler. You close the tap and dry yourself with a towel a helpful - once again, most like Julianne - put on the shelf next to the tub. If it were only you and your brain, you'd be standing here without a towel.

You pick up your clothes from the ground, although you don’t dress yourself yet. You tend to sweat for a bit after the shower is finished, and you don’t want to wet your T-shirt. You notice a red stain on your shorts. Could it be juice?

On closer inspection, the stain turns out not to be a stain. You have already forgotten that you hid Kirsten’s panties from Debra. You pull the garment out and unfold it. It is actually a very pretty piece of underwear. You had no reason to contemplate about Kirsten’s underwear, and if you would have, you’d never imagined her wearing anything else than boring white undies.

Holding her panties makes you realize for the first time that Kirsten’s role in life isn’t reduced to being ‘your sister’. To anyone else outside the family, she is a ‘real person’. It is as if holding her underwear forced to judge her anew, although you have trouble imagining how she would look wearing that.

You turn the panties around to inspect the front. You notice a small white ribbon on the lace waistband you overlooked earlier. The ribbon complements the overall appearance of the panties. Against the light, the silhouette of your fingers shows through the thin material.

How would look Kirsten in these? You still can’t picture it. How much would the elastic material reveal when worn? The cloth feels so different than anything you have worn. A weird thought crawls into your mind. Should you? Should you try it to see how they might look like worn?
