I rounded on the archer next to me, who had dropped his bow and drawn his sword. He tried to bring it up to block my attack but the impact of my blow unbalanced him enough to allow my next swing to cut him open at the gut. He stumbled back in pain, but I was unable to finish up as I heard the whistle of the axeman's weapon cleave through the air. I weaved out of his path...and directly into the arrow from the other archer. -7 health. The blood from my foe rejuvenated me however as I brought up my sword to block the axeman's advance. +3 health.
This fight was lasting much longer than I would like...
