I landed hard on my knees and my momentum pushed me forward until is was practically laying on Toothless.

Pain. My right shoulder burned with pain. The axe had landed right next to my shoulder-blade. I didn't think it broke any bones.
The vikings holding Toothless down backed away with shock.
