You pretend that you don't notice the looks of disgust and pity on most of their faces. Most of all, you ignore the obvious amusement painted on Jessica's face as she leaves the bus.

Thankfully, he remains silent with an expression of concern plastered across his handsome features.
Once the bus is devoid of most of its passengers, the bus driver signals that it's time for you and Willy to get off as well. However, as you're getting up, Willy surprises you by taking your hand and giving it a warm squeeze.
"Hey... you're still my girlfriend right? I mean... I don't give a fuck about what those assholes think. And I really like you, you know?" He clumsily stumbles over his words as he rambles on.
