You decide to go left.

The path dries out quickly, and the texture of the bricks change. They seem to be made out of sandstone or something similar. Soon you can see a yellowish glow ahead. The path curves, and you're confronted with a room. It's a long rectangular room, and torches burn at every corner. At the other end of the room is a flight of stairs leading up. Shelves are cut into the walls, and large rectangular pedestals sit at regular intervals on the floor. One in the center has a top sitting askew on it.

It takes you just a moment to realize you've stepped into a tomb. Cautiously, you walk over to the open coffin. It's made out of the same sandstone as the walls. On the side in ornate letters is the name "Walfreid von Furchstam". Gripping your stake, you peer inside. It's empty except for some dirt in the corners. The lid moves slightly under the pressure of your hand. It looked heavier than that. You wonder if one of the other coffin's lids would be as easy to move, but you're afraid of what you might find inside.
