It'd be only polite to humor your host, wouldn't it?
You follow him as he leads you down into the lower levels of the castle. He seems very chatty. Finally, he opens a door into an enormous, high ceiling room. You step in in wonder. There is a pair of huge generators dominating the far wall, and several shelves full of every chemical known to man. The rest of the space is full of workbenches and devices whose use you can only guess at. Two doors lead off the room to presumably more work area.
"So, this is where you work?" you ask.
"Yes", he says, walking into the space and gesturing about. "I conduct my research here. I've dedicated my life to it. My library is over there" He gestures to one door, "and the freezer is over there." He indicates the other one.
"Freezer?" you ask.
He comes back to stand next to you. "Well, yes. I can't leave the parts out, you know. They'd rot! I thought that would be pretty elementary." He looks at you rather disapprovingly.
"Well, I'm just a lawyer. I don't know much about this experimental surgery thing," you say uncomfortably.
"Well, not everyone can be as smart as I am", he says, touching your arm.
You shrug away. "Maybe we can go back upstairs. Uh, I should go rest again."
He doesn't appear to notice your discomfort. "Wonderful idea. You must have your health."
Ten minutes later, you're back in your room. But are you going to stay there?
