You quickly sit up, and then stand once the two people who helped you step back.
"I'm not sure you should be getting up yet. You should wait for the ambulance," the woman says, drawing your attention to her. Although she is wearing a red one-piece swimsuit the short, dark-haired woman is no clearly not a lifeguard.
"Yeah. I'd take it easy," the man says while he shifts around into your view next to the woman. His red hair is soaking wet and his face looks as though he hasn't shaven in some time. He only wears only a pair of swimming trunks.
The woman looks quite a bit more concerned than the man, if he even is at all. Before you respond to them you glance around the beach and nearby street. There doesn't appear to be anyone in trouble and you get the feeling this isn't going to be easy.
The bus you spot coming down the street offers the opportunity to look in another part of the city for someone to help. Or you could use this time for some selfish pursuits before you call it quits on the whole living thing.
Do you:
- Take the pair's advice and wait for the ambulance?
- Go catch the bus?
- Ask if one of them could give you a ride somewhere?
- Ask where the best restaurant in town is?
