When you get down to the heart of things, every Circle coterie is really a cult. Some, however, are more exclusively dedicated than others, perhaps maintaining otherwise lost rituals and belief systems. Sometimes a coterie cult can act as religious advisors for all the Acolytes in a city. Other coterie cults practice rites so far removed from the covenant's traditions that they are nearly unrecognizable. They may even go so far as to invent new deities.
