While the Circle of the Crone will no doubt attempt to present a united front to those who threaten their lives or power, the real action will be in the internal political interactions within the Covenent of its various Factions, Belief systems and Coteries. Each will have its own agenda, its own purposes, which may conflict with the agendas and purposes of other parts of the Covenent. Look here for groups that might suit your characters goals and beliefs.

Factions
"The dogma of the Crone and the Kindred it attracts makes it possible to define a few broad categories of coteries. These examples, while common, are by no means standard. Most coteries, in fact, resemble hybrids of two or more of these models." -- Coteries pg. 79
It should be pointed our that these are not true factions within the Circle of the Crone. They are models for coteries. In the absence of a true source book for the Circle of the Crone (scheduled to be released in September 2006), many players have turned to the definitions in the Coteries book to serve as makeshift factions. These "factions" may or may not be used in the forthcoming source book, so follow them with care.
