The court of DeKalb, IL was originally founded in the summer of 2005 by the Invictus Baron Dusanj and the Carthian Annie London, with a consensus of local kindred agreeing on Annie as it's prince. The city has been home to a large number of Carthians ever since, and although the current Prince, Alim Essex, defected to the Ordo Dracul after his sire's death, the city still boasts a strong Carthian presence, with Carthians holding positions as Herald and Master of Elysium.

The Carthians - and the rest of the citizens of DeKalb - hold one rule as sacred as the Traditions themselves. "Don't be a fucker."
