Jason lived for stories. Before his Embrace, he sold newspapers to make extra money and learned to read by deciphering headlines, and he traded his innocence for an understanding of human nature the depths to which it could sink, and the heights to which it could soar. Jason's short human life gave him a different perspective on the Kindred psyche and he spent decades trying to come to terms with such concepts as Man, Beast, and Golconda. He watched over people who had no one else to look after them and tried to help young kindred adjust to their unlives with their sanity intact. He chronicled the stories of other kindred so that the Fog of the Ages wouldn't rob them of their memories.
The end came when Chicago's Danse Macabre turned against Jason. His appearance made him an easy target and his desire to help people proved to be his undoing.
