"It's not so bad," Jesse says with a shrug. "There's no rent, no power or phone bill, and they give us all the food we can eat. There's no TV, but there was never a damn thing on to watch anyway."
You glance around at the other people-- animals-- furries sitting or standing around, most of them looked bored near to death.
"So, is this what you guys do all day? Just sit around?"
"Of course not!" Jesse says with a laugh. "This is for your benefit."
"Me? Why?"
"It's traumatic enough waking up with fur, or in your case, scales. In the past, we've had guys freak out when they found themselves in the middle of an animal orgy."
