Take Joe’s car and go to school

Carefully, you wipe the gun clean of your prints and drop it on Joe’s dead chest. You fish the keys out of his pocket, and carefully close the door of the cabin behind you, wiping it clean as well. Pulling your sweater over your hands, you get into Joe’s car, and begin to drive.
When you think you’re close enough to school, you pull the car into a shopping mall parking lot, give everything one more wipe, then lock the doors and walk away. You find a trash can, and drop the keys inside.
You then hurry to school. You’re running a little late when you realize that you left your bike in the back of the car.
Sure enough, three days later the police begin asking questions that you can’t fully answer. You’re arrested for Joe’s murder. You’re father hires a good attorney, but the evidence is too much. The attorney convinces you to plead to a lesser charge of manslaughter so that you can avoid life in prison, but ten-to twenty for a princess like you pretty much means the end of your story.
