"Sure," you say. "I'll be your boyfriend."
You figure you can be her boyfriend at least long enough to dispose of Nina and maybe through a fuck or two.
The rat girl helps you throw Nina's corpse into the dumpster.
"My little rat friends will get rid of her completely," the rat girl says.
You shudder a little, but put Nina out of your mind. You'll miss her, of course, but she's gone and life is for the living.
"And now that you're my boyfriend...," the rat girl says. "I've never had a human boyfriend before. Would you take me to the movies? Take me to dinner? Buy me flowers?"
"Of course," you say. "That's what boyfriends do."
She looks around at the filthy alleyway.
"Take me someplace nice," she says.
