Attempt to walk out of the city
From Create Your Own Story
This all is way to much. You figure its best to get out of the city as fast as possible.
You have no ride, so you begin to walk.
Its starting to drizzle lightly as block after block passes by. About a half an hour later you reach Hudson River Park (which is on the west side of Manhattan, and consists of the shoreline and a bunch of piers; there are tunnels out of the west side of Manhattan, the George Washington Bridge far uptown, and bridges out of the east and north side of the island), and its begins to downpour.
You spot entrances to buildings that look slightly covered from the rain. You also spot piers, the closest of which is the Circle Line pier, which offer some shelter as well.
Do you:
- Walk crosstown across Manhattan; the bridge to the other side of the East River isn't that far...
- Continue to walk up Hudson River Park, and consequently get drenched
- Take cover from the rain under an overhang across from the piers
- Take cover from the rain at the Circle Line pier
- Attempt to gain access to the liquor store across the street
