And McBean just kept going, his machine full of smoke,

till suddenly the Sneetches turned out their pockets, broke.

He packed up his machine, left the town a mess

and all those Sneetches who thought of themselves as more or less

Who tried to keep up with McBeans machines to buy stars

Realized that whether or not they had one upon thars

Within this system of money they had self-destructed

And they withered away on the beaches, sad their lives had been so horribly interrupted.
